As global technology continues to advance at a rapid pace, automation, digitalization, and artificial intelligence (AI) have become key drivers of industrial transformation.
Recognizing the crucial role of innovation in manufacturing — a pillar of Taiwan’s economy — the Taipei Computer Association (TCA) today (26th) announced the official establishment of Smart Manufacturing AI Data Application Alliance (SADA) during its inaugural conference, held in collaboration with Orisol Taiwan Ltd. and its Chairman Rock Li.
The Alliance aims to promote the widespread adoption of smart, digital, and automated technologies across Taiwan’s manufacturing sector, fostering innovation and sustainable development.


Building a Smart Manufacturing Ecosystem

In his remarks, Chairman of Orisol Taiwan, emphad that the Alliance is dedicated to building a collaborative smart manufacturing ecosystem and facilitating synergistic development across the industrial value chain.
“By optimizing resource allocation and improving production efficiency,” he said, “the Alliance will help manufacturers move up the global value chain. We will leverage our platform’s strengths to enhance member companies’ competitiveness and drive sustainable growth.”


TCA’s 50th Anniversary: A New Chapter for Industrial Collaboration

Huang Chun-pei, Senior Vice President of the Taipei Computer Association, noted that TCA celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, marking five decades of leadership in advancing Taiwan’s ICT and manufacturing industries.
He stated that TCA has not only organized numerous influential international exhibitions but also provided policy recommendations and industry guidance to strengthen Taiwan’s digital ecosystem.
“With TCA’s support and resources,” Huang said, “we hope to help the Alliance grow into a key driver of industrial transformation and innovation.”


Global Tech Leaders Join to Shape the Future of AI and Data Applications

The founding ceremony drew an impressive lineup of representatives from global technology leaders, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Mitsubishi Electric, BASF, and Siemens — highlighting the growing importance of AI and data-driven innovation in the manufacturing sector.
Smart Manufacturing AI Data Application Alliance (SADA) seeks to connect Taiwan’s industrial ecosystem with international partners, bridging strengths across the smart manufacturing value chain.
The Alliance aims to introduce AI-powered digital transformation solutions, align with global carbon reduction and sustainability goals, and promote the integration of automation, digitalization, and intelligence into production processes.
In addition, the Alliance plans to collaborate with Taiwanese startups and innovation incubators, strengthening members’ data analytics and AI capabilities to enhance manufacturing efficiency and competitiveness.


An Open Platform for Collaboration and Innovation

Looking ahead, the Alliance will establish an open and innovative collaboration platform, bringing together partners from various sectors to explore the latest trends and future directions in smart manufacturing.
